In the newsletter every week there has been a small article asking people to take any unwanted 5 cent pieces to a tin in the office and all of the money raised by the end of the year was going to be donated to a school that was burnt down by the bushfires. The support for this appeal from parents and students at Leopold Primary School has been fantastic. We have received $190 in 5 cent pieces, which is a great start. Thank you to all of the people who have contributed so far. |

We are trialing a new format for school permission notes. Parents of students in grade 5 and six will notice on the Sovereign Hill excursion note that we are now including an option to pay by credit card.
